Mixed trend on grain market

A mixed trend was seen on the wholesale grain market on Thursday in the process of trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, wheat new Bardan shed Rs 25 to Rs 3275, other commodities maintained overnight levels,
On the rice side, Irri-6 Sindh low type was up by Rs 25 to Rs 2875 and the best quality was higher by Rs 75 to Rs 3025, Basmati No 386 Shahdadkot, however, lost Rs 600 to Rs 4200 and the good type was lower by Rs 700 to Rs 5000, Basmati No 386 Red old gained Rs 400 to Rs 5200-5500, Basmati No 386 Red new picked up Rs 400 to Rs 4700-4800, they said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag quoted at Rs 1500-1600, they said. Prices were unchanged on the grams sector, they said.
