Terrorism renders 4.2 million children orphan: KP Minister

Senior Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Inayatullah Khan has said that terrorism, accidents and other incidents had rendered 4.2 million children orphan in Pakistan. Addressing an Iftar dinner under the auspices of a welfare organisation at Qambar, district Swat he expressed the fear that in case of not taking suitable steps for their education and look after these children could be attracted to terrorism. Those present on the occasion were included Additional Inspector General of Police (AIGP), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Malik Asif, Principal Saidu Medical College, Dr. Taj Mohammad Khan, local JI office bearers and people different walks of life.
The senior minister appreciated the establishment of children looking after institution in Swat in the present era of anarchy a big achievement and said that top investment in the world is the looking after of orphan children in the world.
He termed the demand for provision of land for the institute a big challenge for him and said that the arrangement of land for the institute will be his utmost effort.
