A man on Saturday killed his two daughters and injured wife in Mozah Dhallanwali near Aimanabad after his uncle turned him against his wife for allegedly practicing witchcraft. According to police sources, a factory worker Shafqat killed 7-month-old Haram and two-year-old Aiman while their mother was injured in the incident.
The criminal had a long standing belief that his uncle, Nabi Ahmed who lives in his neighbourhood practices witchcraft against his family. The injured wife Sarwat said that a few objectionable chits were found from the house in the early hours of the day. She said that her husband went to Ahmed's house as he has had enough. However, after some time he came back and slit Aiman's throat and put dagger through Haram's stomach. It was found out that Ahmed had provoked him against Sarwat and he came back sure that his wife was practicing witchcraft.
