On the instructions of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera, 4076 constables will be recruited in Punjab Police. Specialized Protection Unit (SPU) with the purpose to provide the fool proof security to the foreign experts working on various government projects in Punjab. These recruitments will be advertised properly during current week in national dailies.
According to instructions, 918 in Lahore, 245 Sheikhupura, 546 Rawalpindi, 227 Sargodha, 170 Sahiwal, 350 Multan, 274 DG Khan, 266 Bahawalpur and 471 constables will be recruited in Faisalabad.
