Downward trend on grain market

A declining trend was seen on the wholesale grain market on Tuesday in the process of trading, they said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab was lower by Rs 250 to Rs 11250 and the Moong Afghan also shed Rs 125 to Rs 12625, Masoor Canada low type was down by Rs 200 to Rs 9000 and the best quality was lower by Rs 100 to Rs 9200, Masoor Dall Canada low variety was down by Rs 400 to Rs 10800 and good type fell by Rs 100 to Rs 11200, they said.
On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new low type was unchanged at Rs 1400 and the best quality extended overnight fall, losing further Rs 50 to Rs 1500, other items maintained week-end levels, they said. Prices were unchanged on grams and rice sectors, they said.
