KP establishes state-of-art automated information cell

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information & Higher Education Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani has said the provincial government has set-up a state of the art automated information cell in the provincial information department for redressal of public complaints about government offices and to make the government's initiatives public.
Provincial Minister during his visit to the cell here on Monday remarked that the cell would help the government to improve good governance through an effective monitoring system. He said modern equipment's are being installed in the information cell to perform the services round the clock and also monitor print and electronic media's reports about KP government and its attached departments to address loopholes for better delivery services.
Meanwhile, Provincial Secretary Information Abid Majeed briefed the minister about the cell and said it would work in three ways communication system; the cell would monitor media reports about KP government and its departments, keep the public informed about provincial government's initiatives through media and to receive public complaints and report positive media critics on KP government and to forward these complaints and reports to relevant ministers and departments for further action. He said that a state of the art press conference room is also being set up in the cell where all press conferences of the provincial government would be made available to the media both in live and recorded forms. On the occasion, the minister said the cell has been established as part of the KP government measures to utilise all available resources and equip the government departments with new technologies.
