'Efforts on to defeat dengue'

Dengue Review Committee Nishter Town Chairman Waheed Alam Khan has claimed that a campaign against the dengue fever is a continuing effort and "we will uphold our campaign against this curse." "The government has provided record funds to health sector for imparting modern healthcare facilities. During the last year elected representatives played a commendable role in promoting public awareness against dengue, whereas, every effort will be made by the government to prevent dengue virus taking serious proportions during current season.
Scholars can successfully execute the awareness campaign in mosques especially during prayer hours to society," he said. He told a meeting of the Dengue Review Committee, that the provincial government had given the highest priority to health and education and the provincial health budget has been enhanced whereas, additional resources have been provided to accelerate the efforts for prompt achievement of millennium development goals.
