"The government has provided record funds to health sector for imparting modern healthcare facilities. During the last year elected representatives played a commendable role in promoting public awareness against dengue, whereas, every effort will be made by the government to prevent dengue virus taking serious proportions during current season.

He told a meeting of the Dengue Review Committee, that the provincial government had given the highest priority to health and education and the provincial health budget has been enhanced whereas, additional resources have been provided to accelerate the efforts for prompt achievement of millennium development goals.
