Youm-e-Takbeer marked: PML-N's bold steps led to make country nuclear power: Hamza

PML-N central leader Hamza Shahbaz has claimed that the bold, courageous and timely decisions of the leadership have played an important role in making the country a nuclear power. In his speech in a function on the occasion of the Youm-e-Takbeer arranged by the party's Traders Wing at Aiwan-e-Iqbal on Thursday, he said, "There is a ray of hope that the promise of eliminating power-cuts made by the government will be fulfilled up to 2018.
Up to 100 megawatts of electricity have started adding through solar energy project in Bahawalpur which will increase to 900 megawatts, whereas coal based 1,300 megawatts of electricity project is under completion. The Muslim League-Nawaz under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif is committed to make Pakistan a great country. The investment of $46 billion by China will change the destiny of the country, he added.
He further said, "Up to 125,000 people travel daily by air conditioned metro buses in Lahore whereas after the inauguration in Rawalpindi next week, the metro project is being started in Multan. Similarly, after Lahore-Rawalpindi motorway, PM Nawaz Sharif has started 1,000-kilometre long motorway project from Lahore to Karachi which will bring good news of development and prosperity."
The Punjab government has started potable water project at a cost of billions of rupees due to which 32.5 million people will get facility of clean drinking water by the end of 2017, he mentioned. He said that the success in cantonment local bodies elections and the majority in by-election in Multan is more than the general elections. He then cut a cake with workers to mark Youm-e-Takbeer and congratulated them. "This day is memorable for every Pakistani," he added.
Party President Pervaiz Malik, General Secretary Khawaja Imran Nazir, Special Assistant Nasir Saeed and Chairman Tajir Ittihad Lahore Irfan Iqbal Sheikh while addressing the function paid rich tributes to the party leadership which made the country nuclear power through bold steps. Provincial Minister Malik Nadeem Kamran, Assembly Members Shahbaz Ahmed, Majid Zahoor, Ghazali Saleem Butt, party Information Secretary in Lahore Imran Goraya, traders and workers also attended the function.
