On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX) value traded was PKR 2.893 billion. The number of lots traded was 20,112. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,726. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 1.504 billion followed by crude oil (PKR 1.325 billion), silver (PKR 62 million) and Cotton (PKR 1.9 million).
