QUETTA: Pakistan Mulsim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday said a Truth Commission should be formed on Mastung tragedy in order to investigate it for controlling such terrorist activities in future.

He said this while talking to media after offering condolence for Nawabzada Siraj Raisani who was martyred in Mastung’s Dringrah suicide blast which claimed about 130 precious lives and injured several others on Friday.

He said he supports the Truth Commission which was demanded by Nawabzada Haji Lashkari Raisani who was the elder brother of Shaheed Siraj Raisani.

Shehbaz Sharif said it was the responsibility of caretaker government to ensure conducting election in fair, free and peaceful environment throughout country.

He said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan should refrain from doing politics at the time when the country was mourning over the Mastung incident.

Earlier, Pakistan Mulsim League Nawaz President Shehbaz Sharif along with Senator Mushahid Hussain, Speaker Balochistan Assembly Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani, Muhammad Younas Lehri, and Amir Afzal visited the Srawan House to condole with Nawab Raisani, Jamal Raiasni and Nawab Lashakari over the tragic death of Siraj Raisani.

They offered Fateha and prayed to Allah almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss with fortitude.
