Police kill two 'TTP men'

Police claimed to have killed two alleged militants of outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), here on Wednesday. A police party intercepted four suspected persons riding two motorbikes in Surjani Town area in overnight operation and asked. Upon this the suspects opened fire which led to a shootout. Two of the terrorists were killed in exchange of gunfire while the other two managed to flee.
Police said that they recovered weapons and ammunition from the suspected militants' possession. Police said the accused are TTP members. Meanwhile, the city police launched operation in Orangi Town during Tuesday night and arrested a notorious target killer. According to police sources, Crime Investigation Department (CID) of Sindh police apprehended the alleged target killer, Umair, from Orangi Town and seized weapons from his possession. Umair has reportedly confessed to killing over 30 people.
