Karachi police have finalised the security arrangements regarding processions and majalis to be held on Chehlum Imam Hussain (R.A). This was informed to IGP Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali in a report, said a statement on Friday. Report informed that police patrolling, snap checking; picketing, intelligence collection and sharing have been strengthened in the metropolis. Actions against criminal elements have also been increased.
IGP ordered to ensure clearance, scanning and technical sweeping by bomb disposal squad of the routes of processions.
