On the directives of the Governor Sindh and Chief Minister Sindh, the Vice Chancellor Liaqat University of Medical & Health Sciences Jamshoro Professor Noshad A. Shaikh has announced to arrange a four day Medical Camp to serve the ailing community of Tharparkar with effect from 10th December 2014 to 13th December 2014.
In this regard the Vice Chancellor presided over a meeting with the Deans and the Head of Departments of Clinical specialties and it was decided that specialists including the Professors of Medicine, Paediatrics and Gynaecology along with Post Graduate Students, Medical Students, Nurses and Para medical staff will leave for Mithi under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor on 10th December 2014 at 7.00 am. The Vice Chancellor nominated Professor Bikha Ram as the Focal person for the Project and directed to constitute four teams to provided Medical cover to all the remote areas of Tharparkar.
