The Bank of Khyber (BoK) on Thursday opened a new branch of Raast Islamic Banking at Saleh Khana in Pabbi tehsil of Nowshera district. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Finance Muzaffar Said Advocate formally inaugurated the new branch of the bank. The bank Managing Director Shams-ul-Qayyum also present on the occasion. "Islam is complete code of life and our prosperity is in compliance of Islamic Code of Finances, our society can flourish only and only when we adopt Islamic ways in our daily life", says the provincial Minister while speaking at inaugural ceremony.
The government is committed for the well-being of the common man within its resources, the minister said. He lauded the efforts of the BoK Management and staff for the dedicated and devoted services for the significant growth in all operational areas of the BOK, which is reflecting their honesty and sincere services to the masses across the country through BoK network.
Earlier in his address, BoK Managing Director said the bank is committed to cater the banking requirements of the Islamic Banking as well as conventional in a befitting manner in order to encourage the economic developmental activities in the region. Qayyum said that Raast Islamic Banking of BoK has business-friendly network in all major cities of the country. He said that BoK is serving Islamic Banking clients by providing them all Islamic Banking services through its network across the country successfully since 2003.
