CFA Society Pakistan (CFA Pakistan) is a member society of the CFA Institute, which is a global organisation of analysts, portfolio managers and financial professionals, and administers the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program world-wide. Currently the Society is comprised of more than 220 members. Since its inception, it has taken a number of initiatives to promote high standards of professional and ethical standards in Pakistan's financial sector.
Many renowned personalities from the financial sector including Banks, AMC's, brokerage and securities attended the event. Ashraf Bava, President of CFA Society Pakistan presented the welcome note and gave the honour by welcoming all at the auspicious occasion of the 11th annual excellence awards of CFA Society Pakistan.
Muneer Kamal, Chairman of NBP & KSE graced the occasion as a chief guest. He also thanked the Society for its prestigious role in making the event a great success. Investor Relation: The evaluation was based on surveys being sent to Research departments in key buy side and sell side firms. The award is given to a firm on the basis of the level of disclosures in the company accounts, frequency of analyst briefings and timely disclosure of material developments to the investors.
