PML-N workers storm Sheikh Rasheed's hotel

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) workers on Thursday stormed the hotel where Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed was to address a press conference. PML-N workers attacked the hotel where Sheikh Rasheed was staying. They threw stones, rotten eggs at the building and tore down Sheikh Rasheed's campaign posters. A number of PML-N workers also surrounded the Multan Press Club where Sheikh Rasheed was due to address media persons.
Rashid, while talking to various private TV channels from his hotel, said: "I have seen situations far worse than this. A bunch of hired goons cannot make me change my mind. I will hold the press conference as scheduled," said he. On the other hand, PML-N Multan leader, Billal (Billu) Butt, said that Sheikh Rashid deserved to be treated like this. "He should never have used abusive words against our leaders Mian Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif. What goes around comes around. Our workers are only protesting peacefully," Billu Butt said.
Later on, he claimed that PML-N workers have called off the protest outside Rashid's hotel. Reacting over the incident, Sheikh Rahsid said that all the "rotten eggs" would vanish with just one strike under the leadership of Imran Khan. The AML chief said he would not get a case registered against protesters.
