Taking prompt action on report of the murder of a five-year-old minor girl after being raped in the jurisdiction of Sadar police station, Mansehra, police arrested two accused involved in the crime within a short span of five hours after registration of an FIR.
After taking notice of this incident the KP IGP issued strict directions to RPO Hazara to apprehend the accused and to provide all possible assistance to the girl's family. Reportedly, special teams were constituted for arresting the accused and two individuals involved in this crime were arrested. According to RPO Hazara, the crime was committed by two accused namely Waleed and Jalal who are the neighbours of the victim girl. The RPO further added that the accused have confessed their crime and further investigation is underway.
