Demands of justice to be fulfilled at any cost: Shahbaz

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif while talking to a delegation of Assembly Members on Thursday said that demands of justice will be fulfilled at any cost in the tragic incident of clash of Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) workers and police and the guilty persons will not escape punishment.
The Chief Minister said that he is deeply shocked and grieved over the loss of precious human lives in the clash with police and he fully realises the feelings of the families of the deceased persons as well as the leaders and workers of PAT. He said that the judicial commission set up to hold inquiry into the incident has started its work and the facts will soon be brought before the nation.
He said that the report of the judicial commission will be implemented in letter and spirit and the guilty persons will not escape punishment. He said that Pakistan Muslim League-N has never indulged in politics of bullet and violence as it believes in public service and norms of decency. He said that police authorities and provincial administration have been given instructions in this regard.
Shahbaz said that he is determined to provide justice to the affectees at any cost and co-operation with the judicial commission is necessary to ensure punishment to those who have played with the human lives. He said that despite refusal of Idara Minhajul Quran to meet the delegation of ministers going there to express condolences, the Punjab government will uphold all demands of justice.
