Killing of Balochistan Assembly's minority member slammed

Members of National Assembly, belonging to various political parties, strongly condemned the killing of Handery Masieh, a member of Balochistan Assembly in Quetta, on Saturday. The parliamentarians strongly condemned the attack on minority member of Balochistan Assembly, saying it was aimed at maligning the country's image abroad.
They demanded that both federal and provincial governments should inquiry into the incident, bringing the culprits to the book. Condemning the gory incident, PPP's Ijaz Jhakhrani, said that the minorities are being targeted in the country, recalling that a minority member Shahbaz Bhatti was also targeted by the terrorist. He said that the PML-N government should now decide whether to launch operation against Taliban or to hold negotiations with them.
MQM's Iqbal Muhmmad also strongly condemned the incident and urged the government to inquiry into the incident so as to expose the culprits involved in the heinous crime. Shahyar Afradi of PTI, Maualan Mir Zaman, Abdul Rahim Mandokhel of PMAP and others also condemned the incident.
