Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan has strongly condemned the suicide attack in Rawalpindi on Wednesday and expressed his deep shock and sorrow over the loss of precious lives. Expressing his deep sympathies with members of the bereaved families, the Governor said "immortal sacrifices of the officers and Jawans of our security forces for the security of the country will never go in vain and will always be remembered with great pride."
The elements involved in the heinous crime, he added, would also no more remain at large and would be brought to court of law and justice. He has also prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls and courage to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss with patience. He has also wished early recovery of the injured.
