ISE index down by 2.86 points

Bears retuned in the driving seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Friday, where losers outclassed gainers amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index showed a decrease of 2.86 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 4,454.28 to 4,451.42 points. The overall turnover amounted to 616,200 shares as compared to previous volume of 22,200 shares.
Total 158 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (80) closed in negative territory, 78 closed in positive territory, whereas no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of PTCL was 550,000 shares. The volume of Byco Petroleum was 30,000 shares. The volume of Pakistan Petroleum was 17,500 shares.
