Woman among five killed in Karachi

A fresh wave of violence swept the provincial metropolis on Friday as at least five people were killed in separate incidents of violence. According to police and rescue sources, Syed Farhan Ali Shah, principal of a private school, was shot and killed by unidentified persons in Goal Market in Nazimabad. Police say it could be a sectarian killing.
A woman named, Robina, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Purana Truck Stop, near Kausar Mosque located in Mauripur. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital (CH) for autopsy. In the same way, Adil, 40, son of Younas was gunned down by unidentified persons near Ziauddin Hospital in North Nazimabad. The body was moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities. Two persons were killed by unknown armed men in Manghopir, the bodies were moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities. The deceased could not be identified till filing of the report.
