'Erdogan Hospital to be functional before June 21'

Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab on Health Khawaja Salman Rafique has said the work on administrative matters of Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital is continuing speedily and it will be made functional before June 21. Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and Turkish Ministers besides other prominent personalities will formally inaugurate the hospital on June 21.
He expressed these views while reviewing the arrangements regarding administrative matters of Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital. Hammad Nawaz Tipu MPA, Secretary Health Punjab Dr Ijaz Munir, Commissioner DG Khan Sohail Shehzad, Member Board of Management Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital Dr Tasmaan Ibne Raza and Chairman Board of Management Nishter Hospital Kh Jalal-ud-Din Romi were present on the occasion.
Advisor Health Kh Salman Rafique expressed satisfaction over the administrative matters of Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital and said that district administration was making commendable efforts for making the hospital functional as early as possible however, there was need to further accelerate the work so that it could be completed easily by June 15.
He said the supply of electricity, gas and water to the hospital be ensured as early as possible while sewerage system, parking, waiting room and the road to the hospital be completed immediately. Earlier, District Co-ordination Officer Shaukat Ali while giving briefing informed that a 1,000 KV transformer had been installed for the supply of electricity to the hospital without any interruption while it would also be exempted from loadshedding. He said that a 5.2-km long pipeline was being laid for the supply of gas and it would be completed by June 15.
