Pakistan’s top all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez is likely to undergo yet another bowling action test this month.

As per media reports, the test will be conducted at England's laboratory on April 17, but the official announcement will be made after confirmation with the International Cricket Council (ICC). Previously, the experienced all rounder undergone a biomechanics bowling test in England last year.

Meanwhile, the all-rounder is optimistic that he will clear the bowling action test and would soon be seen in action with the ball.

The off spinner, ranked among the leading all rounders in limited overs cricket, was handed his third suspension from international bowling by the International Cricket Council (ICC) in November last year, after an independent assessment had found his bowling action to be illegal.

A bio-mechanical examination of Hafeez’s bowling action revealed that his arm bent more than 15 degrees for the majority of his deliveries. In contrary to 15-degrees level of tolerance is the maximum allowed under the ICC's regulations.

On the other hand, the National Selection Committee – headed by Inzamam ul Haq – has shortlisted the 25-member squad for the initial Test camp starting from April 11 to April 15 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore prior the tour of Ireland and England.
