Dhaga vows to help resolve issues facing Hyderabad Small Chamber

HYDERABAD: Caretaker Sindh Revenue Minister Yunus Dhaga has said that for the improvement of economic situation of any country the role of small industries was important. He said that every possible effort would be made to resolve the problems of Hyderabad Small Chamber.

He was presiding over a meeting of office bearers and members of Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries at Chamber’s committee room, here at Hyderabad this evening.

He assured that the Hyderabad Chamber’s grant issue would be presented before sub-committee of Government of Sindh and after approval funding problem of the chamber would be resolved.

Dhaga said that the appointment of MD sites could not be permanent but their employment period could be extended, then efforts would be made to deploy MD sites.

He directed Ghazanfar Ali Qadri to visit the site area and ensure that their problem was got resolved on priority basis. He said that industrial zone of Sindh was quite old, so more effort was needed to develop the industrial zone of Sindh. He said that every possible effort would be made to solve the problems of the site.

However, Yunus Dhaga directed the MD site to employ the site employees who were paid for that. He said that 300 acres piece of land was allotted in Ganjo Tucker in 2007 for which the Secretary Commerce and Industries Abdul Rasheed Solangi informed that the influential person declare ownership of the said piece of land and took the stay order from the court and now situation would be reviewed again.

The Sindh Minister directed him to follow the case of piece of land so that the issue could be resolved. Mr Dhaga assured to solve all the problems of the members of the Chamber on priority basis.

Earlier, President of Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries Farooq Shaikhani in his welcome address informed the Sindh Minister about problems of the Chamber.
