KARACHI: Gold prices on Monday saw a big fall on the local market, traders said. Gold was traded for Rs234500 per tola, down by Rs1700 and Rs201046 per 10 grams, down by Rs1457.

Silver prices dropped by Rs50 to Rs2850 per tola and Rs42.87 to Rs2443.41 per 10 grams.

On the world market, gold prices stood for $1945 per ounce and silver for $23.21 per ounce, traders said.
