KARACHI: On Tuesday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 25.179 billion and the number of lots traded at 16,457.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 12.342 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 5.896 billion), Silver (PKR 1.462 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.818 billion), DJ (PKR 1.343 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 945.266 million), Platinum (PKR 771.293 million), Natural Gas (PKR 254.991 million), SP 500 (PKR 225.122 million), Copper (PKR 92.506 million), Brent (PKR 16.434 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 8.064 million).

In Agricultural commodities, 7 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 7.905 million were traded.
