KARACHI: On Monday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 17.763 billion and the number of lots traded at 11,653.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 9.199 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 4.431 billion), Silver (PKR 1.082 billion), DJ (PKR 696.849 million), NSDQ 100 (PKR 673.873 million), Crude Oil (PKR 673.280 million), Platinum (PKR 507.497 million), Natural Gas (PKR 214.689 million), Copper (PKR 152.213, million), SP 500 (PKR 116.122 million), Japan Equity (PKR 8.106 million) and Brent (PKR 7.313 million).

In Agricultural commodities, 3 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 3.550 million were traded.
