KARACHI: On Wednesday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 20.802 billion and the number of lots traded at 13,034.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 8.922 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 4.854 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.924 billion), Silver (PKR 1.746 billion), Copper (PKR 1.383 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 817.490 million), Platinum (PKR 573.010 million), DJ (PKR 284.055 million), SP 500 (PKR 145.867 million), Natural Gas (PKR 109.942 million), Japan Equity (PKR 24.330 million) and Brent (PKR 15.213 million).

In Agricultural commodities, 2 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 2.381 million were traded.
