ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has appointed ex-ambassador Mohammad Sadiq as his special assistant.

According to a notification, Ambassador Sadiq was appointed as special assistant with the status of minister of state. However, no portfolio has been assigned yet. Ambassador Sadiq was special representative on Afghanistan during the previous government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
