Seminar held on Pak-Afghan trade

PESHAWAR: Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) organized a seminar on Pak–Afghan Trade in collaboration with Sarhad Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Shehzad Ahmad Khan, DG TDAP, briefed on initiatives taken so far by Ministry of Commerce for streamlining the Pak-Afghan bilateral trade.

Husnain Khurshid Ahmad, President, Sarhad Chamber highlighted issues being faced by business community. Asif Khan, Trade Attaché in Kabul briefed about consultation with new Afghan regime for trade promotion and resolving issues like scanning clearance, foreign exchange payment and traffic movement.

Session was attended by representatives of business community of KP, Transporters from Afghanistan, and officials of NLC, SBP, Pakistan Customs, Afghanistan Consulate in Peshawar.
