KARACHI: Convener of FPCCI's Central Standing Committee on Customs, Shabbir Mansha Churra has demanded to Collector of Customs (Adjudication) for setting up of Customs Adjustment Stations across Sindh, especially in Sukkur.

He said that the traders of Sindh and Balochistan will be able to get justice at their doorsteps in a timely manner and they will not have to travel long distances for legal decisions of their cases to come to Karachi or Hyderabad.

In a letter to Collector of Customs (Adjudication) Sindh, Balochistan, Shabbir Mansha Churra pointed out that traders and trade bodies from Balochistan and interior Sindh especially Sukkur, Nawabshah, Mirpur Khas, Larkana and other cities, have to come to Karachi or Hyderabad for hearing of customs related cases which is a source of concern for them. So setting up Customs Adjustment Stations across Sindh, especially in Sukkur can save them from difficulties and will also help in handling cases as soon as possible. Mansha stated that the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan was to facilitate doing business and provide maximum facilities to the business community so as to promote trade & industry and increase the country's exports as well as create vast employment opportunities. "Therefore, by setting up the Customs Adjudication Stations will definitely strengthen the vision of PM and dealing with cases at lightning speed will also significantly increase the revenue of the govt," he urged.
