Working abroad on work visa, students: Walk-in vaccination for all 18 years, above Pakistanis allowed

ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has allowed walk-in vaccination for all 18 years and above Pakistanis working abroad on work visa, students studying abroad, and seafarers.

According to a notification issued here on Thursday, the NOCOC has directed the people over 18 years of age falling under any above category to simply walk in to any Covid-19 Vaccination centre (CVC), showing valid visa, and get vaccinated.

The vaccination seekers must walk in CVCs established countrywide produce valid passport, visa or aqama to CVC staff for the vaccination.

The staff after checking validity of the documents will make entry into NIMS data and administer the vaccine dose to the visitors.

It further said in case of any problem due to age, connectivity, or technical issues, the CVC staff will make entry into manual data and will pass on to NCOC, later on provinces will make the entries in NIMS data.

Those vaccinated will get certificate from NADRA website as per set procedure.

According to NCOC data, countrywide on Wednesday, a total 211,475 vaccines were administered to people, taking the national tally to 4.95 million, since the drive started.
