PSDP: MoF to hire project director FIIP

ISLAMABAD: The Finance Ministry has decided to hire project director Financial Inclusion and Infrastructure Project in the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).

The Finance Division wanted a qualified person for the position of project director on contract basis for the Financial Inclusion and Infrastructure Project (FIIP) in the PSDP in pay scale-11 equivalent to BPS-21.

The project is an ongoing project with completion time up to 31.12.2022.

The appointment will initially be for the remaining period of the project i.e. up to 31.12.2022, extendable (if required) subject to satisfactory performance.

The prescribed qualifications, experience and other terms of appointment are Masters Degree holder in Computer Science/Information Systems /BE (Computer)/MBA, from an HEC recognised university.

The applicant must be having at least 10 years of experience in managing IT system functions/financial management in a large organisation.

The candidate should have experience and knowledge of Information Technology, hardware, software and networking/security.

Preference will be given to those who have certification in project management and experience in handling government projects or the World Bank funded projects.

Maximum age limit is of 63 years on the date of appointment.

The Pay Package will be admissible as per prescribed/determined by the Finance Division by the government of Pakistan for PPS-11 equivalent to BPS-21.

Ongoing project financial inclusion and infrastructure project in the PSDP for Islamabad and Karachi is being sponsored by Finance Ministry and the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and the central directorate of national saving as the executing agencies.

Scope of the project includes risk sharing facility of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) financing and National Payment Gateway by the SBP.
