Corrupts can not lead movements: Shibli

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz on Monday said that all over the world, national movements are launched against corrupts but the corrupts themselves do not lead the movement.

Talking to a private news channel, he said criticism on the government policies is a constitutional right of the opposition but it should be constructive and not just sake of criticism.

Opposition should tell that when they were tendering their resignations from the assemblies, the minister questioned?

In which capacity Maryam Nawaz was demanding resignations from the Parliamentarians of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz, he asked.

Replying to a question, he said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are enjoying cordial and brotherly relations with each other for a long time and nobody could effects these relations, adding relations are always made between two countries but not persons.

He said the government was ready to hold dialogue with the opposition on every important issue except NRO (National Reconciliation Ordinance).

He said Nawaz Sharif was declared absconder from the courts as his entire politics was based on NRO and the government would utilize all legal options for bringing him back in the country.

He said inflation was reducing in the country and prices of the routine used commodities including sugar, floor were being decreased with the efforts of the government.
