Partly Facetious: Biden in, Trump out

10 Nov, 2020

"Joe Biden said let's give each other (those who voted for Trump and those who voted for Biden) a chance. It's time to put away the harsh rhetoric, lower the temperature, see each other again, listen to each other..."

"I know where you are going with this but The Khan's accusation against the circus masters if you will is that they are thieves, they abused the office of the chief executive to fill their own coffers rather than the treasury and..."

"Excuse me but Trump never shared his tax returns raising questions about his claims, appointed his own children as advisors to the President, and...and...wait foreign dignitaries began to stay in Trump hotels thereby materially benefitting the family and he himself stayed at public expense in his own hotel...was it in Scotland..."

"But did Trump get 10 percent or more from each government contract awarded to...."

"Hey you say tomato the English way and I will say it the American way."

"Changing a statutory regulatory order for a day to allow your own imports into the country duty free...."

"Comes back to the squishy tomato....My point is go after the Sharifs and the Zardaris legally not rhetorically, I reckon it will be difficult to implicate the Bhutto-Zardaris as they were too young when the family's fortunes were rising, anyway go after them but lower the temperature and as the onus of that always but always rests with the government, much stronger of the two..."

"Have you noted the large attendance in The Khan's jalsas as opposed to those attending the jalsas of the eleven parties'?"

"Zardari sahib once said about the Sharif's "why did you kick me out" jalsas: it is easy to have large attendance if you are in government. My point is The Khan reckons the massive attendance in his jalsas is part of a continuing trend based on his ability to attract large crowds, the largest in the history of this country when he was in the opposition...."

"Could that be because of the growth in our population, the only area where there is growth?"

"Don't be facetious - our debt is also rising, domestic and foreign..."

"Indeed, anyway The Khan should be told that the first term of reference of any district administration is to gather huge crowds when any member of the government indicates that he/she will address a jalsa......and it costs money by the way, maybe a tad more than what he saves from not givin tea during his meetings...."

"Do you have any idea how many meetings the Prime Minister attends each day!"

"The Khan has been bitten by the bug of selective hearing, a bug that all our chief executives, civilian and military, were bitten by...."

"No cure yet?"

"Nah like the corona virus the vaccine is still not out."
