(Karachi) PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz kicked off election campaign in Gilgit-Baltistan by hurling criticism on PTI-led regime, media reported.

Addressing a public gathering in Skardu on Thursday, she said that political scenario has changed today. She stated, "Those who remain loyal to their party deserve votes."

"Out of 16 PML-N candidates, eight or nine have changed loyalties. Remember this when you go out to vote, those who cannot endure pressure, will never stand for the rights of the people," Maryam told the crowd.

She maintained, "Those who backstab their party do not deserve your votes."

The PML-N vice president said that the fake prime minister [Imran Khan] announced to make GB a province. "You don't realise how people are struggling due to inflation."

She blamed the incumbent government for sugar and wheat crisis. She asked if any youth in GB got employment as pledged by the party before the 2018 elections and whether the government constructed five million low-cost housing units in the country.

She urged the people of Skardu to send the "lying premier" home. "He is about to go. The last push will be given by the people of GB," she said.
