South Korea's NOFI buys about 13,000 tonnes feed barley

HAMBURG: South Korea's largest animal feed maker Nonghyup Feed Inc. (NOFI) purchased about 13,000 tonnes of animal feed barley in an international tender which closed on Thursday, European traders said.

It was bought in one consignment at an estimated $248.15 a tonne c&f, they said. Seller was believed to be trading house Bunge.

It was sought for arrival in South Korea around Feb. 1, 2021.

Shipment is sought between Dec. 29, 2020, and Jan. 17, 2021, if the barley is sourced from Australia, the US Pacific North West coast or Canada.

If from the US Gulf, east Europe/Black Sea region, shipment is for between Dec. 9 and Dec. 28, 2020.

If from South America shipment is for between Dec. 4 and Dec. 23, 2020.
