Kenya's shilling strengthens, helped by central bank

NAIROBI: The Kenyan shilling edged higher on Thursday supported by the central bank intervention through sale of dollar to the market, traders said.

At 1129 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 108.20/40, slightly changed from Wednesday's close of 108.35/56.
