According to the PSMA, officials elections for the PSMA will be held in September 2020, while recently held elections the body has elected three executive members for one-year term.

The members alleged the sitting chairman of protecting Jehangir Khan Tareen's interests and following his instruction, while not handling the industry crisis amicably.

The role of the chairman is to create awareness among the public and sensitize them about the cost of production and other industry issues.

The members want that the association should proactively come forward to dispel the impression of wrongdoings by the industry.

It is not necessary that everyone agrees with the working of the chairman, he added.
