Barcelona announce Arthur’s departure

Barcelona and Juventus have reached an agreement for the transfer of player Arthur Melo. The Italian club will pay 72 million euros, plus 10 million euros in variables.

The player will remain at the club until the end of official competition this season.

The Brazilian international arrived at Catalan club in the summer of 2018 from Grêmio. Since then, the midfielder has played 72 games for Spanish side in all competitions.

The Brazilian midfielder, who has four goals from his two seasons at the club, scored his first goal against Osasuna in the league and has won two titles with Barça; the league and the Spanish Super Cup in the 2018/19 season.

Meanwhile, Juve's Miralem Pjanic is set to move in the other direction, although both players will conclude the 2019-20 campaign at their current clubs.
