Sindh's total number of coronavirus cases jumped to 72656 on Tuesday after 1564 infections were reported.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that in the past 24 hours, 6597 people were tested for coronavirus out of which 1564 tested positive. He said so far 395287 tests have been conducted in the province.

Out of the new cases reported, 1028 were reported from Karachi. He further said 21 more people lost their lives due to coronavirus. Sindh has lost 1124 people to coronavirus.

The chief minister continued that currently 614 patients are in critical condition while 118 are on ventilator. Today 1357 patients recovered from the virus. " Sindh's total recoveries stand at 38401," the chief minister said.
