KARACHI: United Bank Limited (UBL) on Monday night assured its customers and investors that bank's system had not been attacked denying the reports of cyber attack circulating on social media.

According to an official response from the bank, there are rumours circulating on various media platforms about an alleged cyber security threat at UBL. However, the Bank has assured its customers and all stakeholders that these reports are fake and unfounded.

UBL has always invested in robust systems and state-of-the-art security measures, the bank said.

According to the bank, furthermore to address these rumours, all possible measures are being taken by the UBL management, including seeking assistance under the relevant laws.
