Arguably, 2017 was the year to remember for Pakistan cricket, as the national team managed to win their maiden Champions Trophy after crushing victory over fierce rivals.

The Pakistan’s Champions Trophy triumphant has been voted as the ICC Fans' Moment of the Year. This win, without any doubts, will remain in the hearts of Pakistan cricket's fans and those who were there to witness the win will never forget it.

The most intense rivalry in sport found the perfect setting at The Oval, London’s rich community of Pakistani and Indian ex-pats turning the ground into seas of green and blue. A successful tournament deserved a grand finale.

The pre-match analyses centred around Pakistan’s bowling versus India’s batting. But the world had to wait for Mohammad Amir versus Virat Kohli, for India won the toss and chose to field, banking on some early movement with the white ball.

The match seemed to be a fairytale of Pakistan team as they got an unexpected hero in shape of Fakhar Zaman, while batting and then it was Mohammad Amir’s spell breaking the backbone of Indian batting lineup.

Pakistan began the tournament in disarray and finished it in glory. They saved their finest for last, giving the watching millions around the world a vision of Pakistani cricket at its raw, thrilling, charismatic best.
