A daylong seminar on 'Use of Information and Communication Technology in Pakistan Healthcare' set up was organised by e-Health Association of Pakistan (eHAP) in collaboration with University of Health Sciences (UHS), here on Saturday. The objective of the seminar was to promote e-Health awareness among the health and IT related institutions and organisations in Punjab and to build collaboration among institutions and promote eHealth development in Pakistan.
Dr Asad Ashraf MPA inaugurated the seminar and highlighted provincial government's efforts to provide healthcare to all. UHS VC Professor, M.H. Mubbashar stressed the need to channelize all eHealth activities in the context of current health situation in Pakistan and chalk out a master plan for these while keeping all legal and ethical issues in view.
