Rs nine million robbed by bank security guard

A security guard along with his three accomplices robbed Rs 9 million cash from a branch of a private bank in the jurisdiction of Kharadar police station. Police said the security guard namely Anwar Mohammad Khan along with his three accomplices held the employees of bank hostage at gunpoint and looted foreign and local currency worth Rs 9 million and other valuables.
They said the bandits, who escaped on two motorcycles (KDR-0180) and (KED-2177) of employees, managed the said operation in leaps and bounds. To a question, they expressed inability to get footages of the said incident, saying that the culprits cut the wires of CCTV cameras before starting robbery. Furthermore, police said the mastermind of this fourth bank robbery in 2011, was Anwar, the resident of Gul House Akhter Colony and hailed from Chakwal Punjab. No case was registered till filing of this report.
