Equities moves both ways on ISE

Equities moved both ways at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where investors adopted a cautious approach under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 05.19 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,479.09 to 2,484.28 points. The overall turnover amounted to 1,213,894 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,255,008 shares.
Total 145 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (96) closed in positive territory, 49 closed in negative territory, whereas zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The turnover of Lafarge Pakistan Cement was 195,050 shares. The volume of Bank al Falah Ltd was 151,297 shares. The turnover of Arif Habib Securities was 88,950 shares. Top gainer was Unilever Pakistan with an increase of Rs 19.98 per share, whereas was a major loser was Fazal Textile with a decrease of Rs 21.74 per share.
