PPP NWFP MPAs threaten to resign

The MPAs belonging to Pakistan People's Party (PPP) in NWFP Assembly on Monday have warned that they will tender resignations if the formula of power sharing with ANP was not implemented in the province. The warning was issued after a meeting of parliamentary party members here at NWFP Assembly. The meeting was also attended by Senator Sardar Ali Khan.
Talking to newsmen, Parliamentary leader of PPP in NWFP Assembly, MPA Abdul Akbar Khan said they have reservation over non-implementation of power sharing formula reached between the PPP and ANP at time of formation of government. Abdul Akbar Khan said there is no deadline for acceptance of their demand. However, he continued, these were not accepted, they would submit their resignation.
