KARACHI: Sindh government has declared September 30 and October 01 (Saturday and Sunday) as public holidays on account of Ashura (9th and 10th Muharamul Haram) across the province.

According to a statement issued here on Thursday, the holidays have been announced for all offices, autonomous, semi-autonomous bodies, corporations and local councils under the administrative control of government of Sindh except essential services.
