Qatar announces free 'Visa On Arrival' for Pakistanis

The State of Qatar has announced to grant free prompt tourist entry visa on arrival for Pakistanis for the period of 30 days, it was learn on Tuesday.

“The concerned authorities of the State of Qatar has decided that the citizens of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan will be granted free prompt tourist entry visa for the period of 30 days, on their arrival in the State of Qatar,” read a statement by the Embassy of the State of Qatar, Islamabad.

As per the statement, the conditions to avail this facility, the passport must be valid for at least six months, and the passenger must have a confirmed return ticket.

Some 28 countries including Qatar will now provide visa on arrival for Pakistan.

The remaining countries to provide this facility include: Cambodia, Cape Verde, Comoros, Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Djibouti, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Madagascar, Maldives, Mauritania, Mozambique, Nepal, Nicaragua, Palau, Samoa, Seychelles, Tanzania, Timor-Leste, Togo, Tuvalu, Uganda.
